It also set up the next book in the series nicely, which I'm excited to get to! And it was action-packed! There was a proposal, wedding, kids, sexy times (including a DP!!!), and of course kicking some ass Protector-style.Īs with pretty much every book Sloane writes, I laughed in some places and cried in others (usually happy tears this time around - YOU try to get through those wedding vows with dry eyes!). We got to see things from the POV of Ronan, Mav, Mace, Hawke, and Memphis, with a bonus at the end from Dom. I'm guessing it was more because it doesn't focus on any particular relationship, which is one of the reasons I loved it so much. Not this one!!!!įirst of all, this is actually LONGER than some of Sloane's other books, so my assumption that it was a novella because it was labeled "Protectors 5.5" was incorrect. I've gotten used to novellas in series that are a fun extra glimpse into characters' lives, but are easily skipped without missing much. So much happens in this book!!! Don't miss it! "There are moments where I can't breathe when I'm around you, and sometimes I can't breathe when you're not around." I cried, laughed, got hot and bothered and didn't want it to end. Also…Daisy, Sage and Cash? Yes, please! Overall, it was an amazing story that touched all the parts of my heart. I'm loving the tension between Magnus and Dante and I can't wait for their story.
I can't get enough of this series and I will keep reading them as long as Sloane keeps writing them. It's not as long as the other books in the series, but it felt like it was. I felt all the sadness, love, loss and tears along with the heat and passion. Sloane is such a fantastic writer that she makes you feel as if you're there. It's brotherly love and family loyalty at its finest. They've learned to lean on each other and they've learned to need family again. These tough, rough and rugged men have learned to let love in.
And, a little drama just to remind us why we love who we love.
Those couples just starting out and wanting to take the next step. Those couple who have been together for years and still have the spark. Not only do we get to see all of our favorites, Ronan and Seth, Hawke, Tate and Matty, Mav and Eli, and Memphis, Brennan and Tristan, we get to see Jonas, Mace and Cole and the Barretti men too! It's the best Christmas present ever! The Protectors Family Christmas is about family, love and growing together. Sloane Kennedy has done it again with this Christmas installment. The Protectors series is one of my all-time favorite series'.
